Hi!
I am new to the forums. I was just recently accepted into Georgetown's FNP program for the May cohort. I am super excited and can't wait to continue my career. Between now and then, I am looking to review some topics just to get my mind back into the study/school game. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on topics to review or review books/resources they suggested or that had benefitted them.
Thanks so much!!!

I did my ANP quite a few years ago. The number of potential diagnoses can be frightening.
So I focused on the "Top 10" primary care problems. Understanding the diseases, the differential diagnosis, and various treatments.
Not sure exactly where I got my Top 10 list, but the Internet was young then, so I am sure you will have no problem generating a list.

Congrats on your acceptance! My advice would be to enjoy your free time but if your must read ...focus on advanced patho and pharmacology. Those 2 subjects kicked my butt in school ...like most I survived but if I had read ahead it would have helped! I bought Clinical Pathophysiology made ridiculously simple by Aaron Berkowitz ...Clinical Cardio made ridiculously simple by Michael Chizner MD ...cause cardio wasn't my friend in school...lol There are tons of books you can purchase read ahead ....just my 2 cents
