Hi all! I've started this thread for those of us who have gotten the good news and have been accepted to start the nursing program at Truman College in Fall 2012!
If you are still waiting to hear, I would suggest visiting the other thread I started for some helpful information, tips, and support!
Here's what I know so far:
There WILL be clinicals in the first semester (6 hours)
The classes will be scheduled via a lottery system
We should be receiving a letter from Dr. Gurney in the near future that details what our next steps should be!

I registered for the class at the end of May since I want to see the email first to ascertain the specific requirements before paying for the wrong one! I assumed we need to take the one geared for Professionals rather than the Layperson class. At other places, the professional class is $15 more but here it seems to be the same price!
Hello everyone! I know I am late, but I just found this forum. I was accepted a while back and I will be looking forward to joining you guys at Truman for the fall. As far as CPR, I just registered at MXC for May 19th, 9:30a-2:30p. It was $45.00.
And Bethany1975, I received an updated email saying what people mentioned above that more info will be emailed on May 14. I guess that is our confirmation? Did you receive that email?

Congrats everyone! Can't wait to start fall semester! Also fire department does a great job with CPR classes, though I am pretty sure it is not free.
