It does not mean that's the only package of books we need; however, if we don't have any others now we can get by with cravens only. however, there are some others, like fundamentals questions and answers (can't think of the author now) that is an important supplement.

Hi xmoomoox, in regards to books: craven is the main one for our first semester. Otherwise we will be notified during our first week about other important books. I tried contacting one of the profs at truman, one that teaches 6pm classes, and she said to review first few chapters of craven before first class. She would not elaborate on other books. Hope this helps.

this is what i found: [h=4]is nln accreditation mandatory?[/h] nln accreditation is optional, but a desirable credential for nursing programs to have. nln accreditation of a nursing program indicates the program meets six nlnac standards related to mission and administration, faculty and staff, students, curriculum, resources and outcomes. each standard has between five and 10 criteria, each of which must be met to attain accreditation. see: nln accreditation questions and answers - nursing - spokane community college for more info. this also might be helpful: nlnac accredited nursing programs and this: national league for nursing - about the nln

Bethany1975: just spoke with clinical coordinator. I was told that we do not need to do criminal background check now as we did that for application to the program. However, we will need to re-due it before January of 2013 as criminal background check expires after a year (we will be reminded about that later on once the semester starts).
