Acceptance into Hinds CC Part-time Evening/ Weekend Program

Hello everyone,

Last week I found out I was accepted into a part time evening/ weekend LPN program. Is there anyone else who was accepted? We have our orientation this month (March 2015) and start in June. I'm very excited! Does anyone have any advice on studying or any book suggestions?

How is class? What days do you attend? How does the part time program fit in your schedule? Is it hard ?

Hi,

I unfortunately had to give up my seat this year due to family issues. I will try again next year. But my friend tells me that it's a lot of chapters and studying. I wish you the best! I will be there next year!

I'm sorry you weren't able to start this year!! We will be classmates next year!! how many nights out of the week does your friend go to class? That's the only thing I'm worried about, kind of. I just really want to work full time but I just may have to go to part time.

Hi. I am in the Meridian CC part-time LPN program and it's 2 days a week. (Thrus/Fri). I work full time & I have a part time job also. I love it because it works for me. The program is not easy at all. You can make it work, just apply yourself and realize you want have time for anything else.
