Acceptance & Denial letters and waivers

I was wondering how your schools differ from mine ?? We have many students who have waivers for fall of this year including myself because I just completed a prenursing course after a deadline. Some students just received their acceptance letters yesterday. Do your schools send out the acceptance and denial letters out at the same time?? They also say waiver students get their letters sent at the same time. I am hoping it's just the mail & that I will get something tomorrow...LOL

At my school, alternates are often called an hour before the first day of class!

Wow! I can't imagine! I guess I'd rather have that phone call an hour before classes begin, then not at all. I'm thankful to have known 8 months before my program begins. It has given me plenty of time to prepare...and freak the heck out!:barf02:

At my school, acceptance letters are sent out first, followed by alternate letters and then denial letters are last. We've had people called the first day of class because someone dropped or never showed up. I couldn't imagine having such short notice. I need time to prepare!
