Since those programs are designed for working adults to complete their degrees, aren't they all as accelerated or decelerated as you want them to be? Couldn't you just take the classes at a faster pace?
Not at all. They're not designed for working adults -- they're designed for people who are willing and able to take a 12 to 18 month break from working to go to school full time. Some do manage to work, at least part time, while doing an Accelerated BSN, but it's not easy. I graduated from a 12 month accelerated BSN program, and there is no way I could have fit in work with such an intensive program and also being a single parent.
To the OP -- if you give us a little more detail about what you'd like to know about accelerated BSN programs, we might be able to help you.

The OP was asking about RN-BSN programs, so I was assuming they meant BSN completion programs, not initial licensure programs. I did an Accelerated BSN program, so am well aware of the time commitment they require. Perhaps the OP can clarify?
Hello All,
I wanted to know which schools do you recommend for accelerated RN-BSN degree. I know there are lots of schools which schools which offer this program and some of them may be good and some of them may not. So I wanted to have some ideas from your real life experience. I live in NY and I am recently graduated RN. I can commute to Connecticut or New Jersy too, if I find a good, reputed accelerated onsite/hybrid RN-BSN program. Thank you in advance.
