There are several programs in Michigan, each with their unique yet similiar requirements (eg, A&P, Chem, Microbio, Stat, Orgo, Bio, give or take) plus a Bachelors degree:
I suggest checking out the websites of:
Wayne State University - 15 mos (Fall start)
University of Detroit Mercy - 12 mos (May start)
Michigan State University - 12 mos - Summer start
University of Michigan - 12 mos
Oakland University
Grand Valley State University
And there might be a few more, I'm not sure, but Madonna might have one..

The program at MSU lasts 12 months, you start in the Fall and go Fall, Spring, Summer semesters. You take 19 credits during fall, 18 during spring, and 11 during summer. Before you can apply to the program you need to have the follow courses done: Anatomy, Physiology, Nutrition, Psychology, Human Growth & Development, Statistics, Microbiology, Chemistry, and Pathophysiology. The deadline is sometime in the spring, I believe it is the beginning of May.
Tuition is $409.75 per credit hour so it is around $20,000 for the tuition, not including the various fees & books.
I got my first BS degree from MSU and looked into their accelerated BSN program but decided to go a different way. The few things I have heard from people in the program have not been good but I am not sure if the program is fairly new or if the whole college of nursing is a mess.
thnx annan5 for the reply, i have taken all the prereqs for MSU's accel. pgrm. except for pathophys...i'll probably apply for fall 2008 since i anticipated that the first 3 years of the prgm will have "kinks".....was wondering where the clinicals were held since word is that sparrow hosp. has trouble handling all the med/nursing students that have clinicals there...
They use clinical sites all over so unfortunately some of them require some driving. One girl I know had to drive 140 miles round trip 3 days a week to her clinical site for a semester.
