I recently submitted my application for the accelerated BNS program. I saw that other semesters had discussions and I thought it would be nice to start one for us, just to help each other out through the application process.
I looked at past ones when I was filling out my application and found them to be helpful, so hopefully it will be for us.

So I was going over t he directions that were sent in the email and it tells us to look at the Transfer credit tab... I don't see any of my prerequisites listed there...
I think it says that accelerated students don't look at the transfer credit tab. I was confused by that and then a few days after my acceptance email I got a packet in the mail. In that packet was a transfer credit sheet. I hope that helps! :)
No it came a few days after my acceptance email. I just paid my $500 today. It was basically a copy of the email and a booklet for freshmen, and the transfer credit form. My guess was they mailed it the same day as the email or the next day.
To all the accepted students, congratulations!! NYU is a great school, get ready for an awesome experience, meeting new friends and just the most wonderful professors. Good Luck to you all.
hi guys! I got my acceptance email last Thursday!! Im sooooo excited!! Im from the NYC area--Queens baby and Im entering the accelerated 15 month program. Ive been reading about the "meet and greets", but I havent received any official info in regards to them...do you have to register? On our facebook page someone posted an upcoming meet and greet for the 19th, since Im still on vacay I am definitely interested in going. Can someone fill me in?
I just accepted NYU's offer for the 15 month program and paid the $500 deposit. Im soo excited and now awaiting my fin-aid reward. Has anyone been to the meet and greets? Were they informative? I heard that they give you a brief tour as well? Do they send you an invite or can we just walk in? Are they in the evenings? Thanks :)
Congrats on your acceptance! I received an e-mail from the college regarding the meet & greet sessions - the last one is this Thursday, May 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. The first hour is informal and you have the opportunity to talk with college staff and faculty as well as current college of nursing students and reps from the financial aid office. It's great to hear firsthand from students their experience and things they think are important for incoming students to know.
The second hour is for tours of the nursing simulation labs. These are led by current students so this gives you more time to ask them even more questions.
If you haven't received any information I'd contact the college directly - I'm sure you can attend; they just asked for RSVPs since space is somewhat limited.
