Does anybody attend the accelerated BSN program in NJCU? If so what is the cost of the program? How competative is it to get in? Will they accept you if your overall GPA is lower than a 3.0 but you have a very high GPA in your prerequisites? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

thank u. so did u register bysending a email to the link they told u to? i did but have not heard back. maybe i will tomorrow

I sent an email with information to get an ID number. Then i received an email from them with a link to the prometric website to register for the test and get a location. But they did take about a week or so to reply back..

anyone going to the Open House tonight? from 5 pm - 7 pm?

I am currently in the program down at the Wall campus. I suggest anyone interested in the program should go to the open house and ask lots of questions!!!

Hi all! Can somebody please fill us in with what happened at the Open House earlier this week? TIA!

I did not go but I wanted to know if anyone did go and how many people were there? how many people apply to how many people were accepted?

I applied to NJCU. Got an email telling me I had to "redo" my essay. Redid it and will be mailing it today. I am taking the HESI on April 12th. I am so terrified. What sections should I study the most? Math, Science, A & P? I herd they don't care about the science. Is that true? Has anypne got accepted into the program?

also what score do i need on the HESI overall? and in what sections?

Redo your essay? lol...Do you think it had gramattical problems? or did you not include answers to the question they asked? Did u not tell them a lot about you? Sounds scary. For the person asking about being scared on taking the exam-have you looked at the study guide? did u get that $40 something dollar book? Well it seems easy int he begining, it shows u how to add!!! I yet have to study tho-i am scared too

"Redo"...sounds odd....The score on the HESI is not as important as who the person is overall. Even if you don't get a "perfect score" on the HESI, if you will be an asset to the program, you get accepted. I asked the program coordinator what they were looking for, and that is what I was told.

Don't worry too much about it...Oh, and don't expect your acceptance letters to be mailed until about 6 weeks before the program is set to begin. That's when we got ours. If you scroll back a few pages, you'll see (we were asking the same questions, 1 year ago)... :)

hey how big is the program cohort? the nursing class?
