ACC Mobility Fall 2021

Published

Hey guys, anyone else out there putting in their application for mobility track Fall 2021? Are you an LVN, medic, surg tech, RT, etc? I just applied yesterday. Looking forward to see how this plays out.

PS- Any medics who get in, I think you guys are amazing and would like to form a study group to collaborate. I'll help with the nursing side and would love some viewpoints on the ACLS/CC/skills side.

1140 turned out well, I passed with no real issues. It just got really crammed because of the ice storm and Spring break. Thankfully, the skills and exam material were more of a refresher than all  new material. I found lab time to be relatively unhelpful. You must social distance and that makes it very challenging to practice with a partner to correct your mistakes. I truly hope by Summer/fall the guidelines become more relaxed. Good luck to you guys! PS no ranking or acceptance letter for me either.

@Autumn0122 the seats will fill up at some point but people may inevitably end up dropping. Two people in my 1140 dropped but all 14 of us passed.

@Autumn0122 in my experience, that short window of time just increases anxiety and doesn’t really help all that much.  I’d rather just get it over with.  I think they will have a little more understanding for our situation at first as we didn’t really get to practice the whole ACC protocol that much.

@RJK I am also signed up for the early lab. I keep debating would it be smarter to have the later lab just in case we have a lab practical. I still see 7 seats are available thought for sure they would all be gone!

That is definitely true about the time! Hopefully this class goes smoothly. That’s a good sign only 2 people dropped from the rnsg1140 course! I was wishing I’d have a email this morning for ranking but nothing yet. LOL

You guys get your ranking emails!? I have no idea what would be considered a good score do you guys!?LOL

I got a 43.576.  I think it can vary based on how many courses you’ve taken and your GPA, so it would be hard to judge.  I guess you could do the math for someone who made perfect grades in all the courses (pre-req’s and co-req’s included).  Without the HESI, all A’s, and not including the nursing skills classes, I think the highest score for a new applicant would be a 46?? ?.  Don’t quote me on that though LOL

IDK but my score was 42, I think the max is 46 unless you're a reapplicant. I'm finishing statistics this semester so that was the only coreq I didn't have. It's your GPA x classes completed + 6 review points.

I got a 41.545 thanks for letting me know! I guess we shall see assuming acceptance letters will be sent out Thursday or Friday. Good luck guys! Yea statistics definitely don’t miss that course ?
