They aren't as good at telling the truth?????

I personally wouldn't work for someone who puts nurses in poorly compensated position. I.e. St Thomas.

JMHO

And I don't like their so called tax advantage I think the IRS might not either.

Slick recruiters don't appeal to me either.

And on whose list are they one of the top 3?

None that I know of.

Suzanne....... Their OWN.. They made it up...:lol2:

Wow, I'm glad I found this site. Abetta was one of the companies I was looking into. I don't plan on trying to travel until this winter so I can get more experience before I venture out. I'll have 3 years by then. Anyway I'm disappointed, Abetta was at the top of my list. I've called about 10 companies so far. Abetta, On Assignment and RNnetwork where the 3 I was seriously considering. What was it about them that I should steer clear of?

While I'd love to advise you here it really is up to you. You just have to do your homework.

Decide what's important to you. What is a deal maker or breaker. Do you need health insurance. Is it affordable with the company. Do you want a retirement vehicle, where do you want to go. ETC.

Make a list, ask questions of the company. Ask them to have other nurse who've worked for them call you. Do what you need to do to protect yourself.

When you get ready to sign on the dotted line make sure every last thing is in writing on your contract.

Housing, utlities, who pays for what, travel pay, guaranteed hours, floating. etc.

Remember you have to watch out for yourself now.

Good luck.
