AANP study group

Hi everyone,

I recently failed the AANP EXAM, and I have been preparing for my second attempt, I figured I would take this opportunity to see if anyone is interested in joining my study group that I created .. feel free to inbox me for more info, so we can share study tips and advice to help each other pass the exam.

I test for the first time on June 10th and I'm really nervous - AANP FNP. I bought Maria leik digital and it was horrible, I heard the paper book is much better but I prefer digital materials. I am thinking of UWorld I purchased the free trial. UWorld helped me pass the NCLEX and I 100% recommend it for RN. But I don't know about FNP. I'm not sure UWorld FNP has been out long enough. Anyone have any recommendations on what I should buy/use?

Hi,

I am planning to take mine in August. I am really looking for a study buddy.

I also failed and planning to retake it. I would love to join a study group

I used leik and Fitzgerald.

Hi, this reply is for you and jjohn

First of all , make sure you master the contents . Know your stuff well. I personally used the leik book, literally read the whole book and took notes on the whole book. I have 50 pages of notes .

2nd: do study courses . I personally used the Cohen review , and archer review . ( Multiple videos , broken down by body systems and things you need to know ) , I also heard the Sarah Michelle is great , although it is pricey . But I didn't need it .

3rd: once you feel comfortable with materials/contents . Then it is time to do questions .  I can't stress this enough. You need to do questions and questions and questions... Repetition makes perfect .  I used leik questions bank, Sarah Michelle bank , and also used the board vitals ,

I did about 4000 questions .  Make sure you do not sit for the exam until you do at least 3k questions .

I can't stress this enough.. just do more questions.. even if you feel that you are repeating yourself .  Practice. Makes perfect .  Sometimes you need to study things over and over to stick. It it's well worth it .  Sarah Michelle Q Bank , leik , and board vitals did it for me

Hey! Oh mY I didn't get it. Can you please email me again ? What name is it under

Thank you. Will do the same
