It's expensive, but I think I learned more using Rosh Review than I learned in my three years of school. I found the question bank had excellent explanations and reference materials. There are a few facebook board study pages and every now and then someone will have a discount code posted for Rosh, or a group sign up that decreases the overall cost.
I also had the Barkley CDs and books and I did the Fitzgerald book questions. Best of luck, I'm sure you can be successful!
Thank you very much for the feedback! I initially started with the Fitzgerald review course and had subscribed to the AACN's question bank. More recently I have been using Rosh Review as well as Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Q&A Review by Dawn Carpenter. I think as I've worked through more of the Rosh Review questions I'd have to agree with you. They seem more in line with what I experienced on my first attempt.
Although it has been quite a few years since I took the exam, I would highly recommend the Barkley course materials. At the time I took the exam, they did not have the online streaming videos so I ordered the CDs and listened closely, as well as going through the study guide. Best of luck to you!

Any recommendations out there for study material following an unsuccessful first attempt? I feel kind of lost at this point. I attended a Fitzgerald review course and still have those materials. I also used questions provided through the AACN. Thanks in advance!
