AACC Spring 2012 hopefuls?

Hello fellow MD nurses!

I'm just looking to see if there are any prospective Spring 2012 students at AACC? I'm finishing up A&P2 this summer and will be putting my application in in the fall. Anyone take the TEAS yet? Any advice? I'll probably take mine in August when I'm done with classes so I can focus on studying for that as opposed to my other classes.

Well I just looked at the website and it stated that for spring 2012 there is a deadline of sept. 15 and ANY SEMESTER AFTER SPRING 2012 WILL BE ON ROLLING ADMISSION... So there is still a deadline and competitiveness for the the spring semester.. starting fall 2012 is the rolling admissions..

Well I just took my app to the school and yall are right.. its roling admissions for AA county residents only...

I just took my TEAS test on monday and just got my score back today. I was surprise to see that I only scored a 64% but it listed me as Proficient...which meets their requirements. Maybe I should have reviewed more for this exam instead of taking 3 classes this summer especially since everyone on here has scored in the 70's. But I was more concern about my perfect GPA until I found out it no longer matters beyond 2.5. Since i'm hoping to get into the Spring 2011 class, i'm going to submit my application anyway and see what happens....Good luck to all the Spring 2011 hopefuls and hopefully I will be among you in the spring!!!!!

Has anybody had back in e-mail or letter in the mail

I got an email from them stating they received my application, it was complete, and that they are in the process of reviewing it. Also, not to call the office because they will notify me of an update regarding the status of my application. I think it was 1 week after I turned my application in that I received this email.

Oh I know, it was like 8 days ago I got that email. I'm wondering if they are waiting unilateral after the deadline or of since I'm in county I'll find out sooner.

i put my application in a about 10 days ago, they sent me a email my application is complete and we will here from them in 6-8 weeks.

That is good to know! It would have been nice of them to include that in my email!

So my question is what are we waiting so long for if its first come bases I mean either you have the minimum required or not.. For some reason I think its more to it than that.

yeah, I don't think they are telling us everything. Either that, or they are still trying to figure out exactly how they're going to do things too.
