AACC Spring 2012 hopefuls?

Hello fellow MD nurses!

I'm just looking to see if there are any prospective Spring 2012 students at AACC? I'm finishing up A&P2 this summer and will be putting my application in in the fall. Anyone take the TEAS yet? Any advice? I'll probably take mine in August when I'm done with classes so I can focus on studying for that as opposed to my other classes.

Who all got into the Hybrid program? I think we should meet outside of the room the nursing orientation is in a little early so we can introduce ourselves!

Well I put my accept form in the mail today, registered to take CPR on Nov 12th, and scheduled my health exam for Oct. 7th. I'll probably do my background check sometime this week as well. Things are all falling into place, so exciting!

Acceptance form and copy of CPR card sent, background check done, and now I just need to do the physical!

Is anyone else actually in class? I'm in class and it seems everyone is doing hybrid... :(

Im in on campus classes. And Im in the November 12 CPR class as well! Dropped off the acceptance form today, now for the background check and physical.... :(

I already am CPR certified until Dec 2012. I don't know if I should take the refresher course or just wait until next year to take it.

I would wait- it costs $$ and it is only good for 2 years. So if you go to get re-certified, it won't tack on 2 years to your certification, it will only add 1 year. If you're currently certified, you're good to go!

Congratulations to all of you Spring 2012 Selectees! I'm in 1st semester now, so it wasn't that long ago that I was jumping up and down with excitement over getting my acceptance letter too. Best of luck to you all!

I just joined this site, but I wanted to add to this thread because I got accepted too! I'm in the on-campus classes, and I'm so excited. Since I moved to Maryland in June I've met basically nobody, I thought it might be nice to get to know some people I'll be in class with before classes actually start. Congrats to all of you!
