A couple of questions...

1) Is there a forum just for nurses in PACU on allnurses.com?

If not, can there be on on here please?

2) I am a new a graduate.

What is the best method of action to get into PACU ?

Do I have to do a year of med surg(on a mainly surgical floor)..then do 1-2 years of critical care ..then PACU?

What is the process to get to where I can work in the PACU?

Can you work at a surgical center and do a PRN critical care job on the side?

Would that give you enough experience?

3) How easy/hard is it to start working in a private surgical office as a new grad? How much do they make?
