Ok Here's my story......
I have 4 classes left to take:yeah::
PSY 101
BIO 121 (A&P)
CHM 201
*May take MTH 011 just to refresh my math skills
If I take A&P next semester at Wayne State (which is one class) and the other 2/3 classes at WCCCD, I'll be able to apply at Oakland University in September. If not then I take A&P I and PSY 101 at WCCCD next semester and A&P II and CHM 201 the following semester - I won't be able to apply for Nursing School until Jan. '09.
My question is: Is A&P at Wayne State as difficult as they say it is ? I mean I do want to maintain a high GPA so getting a C or below is not an option. I also work full time, so will this be too much?
Any suggestions will be helpful. :plsebeg:
Thanks in Advance

Anatomy and physiology is vey difficult at Wayne state. I know this, because I'm currently taking the class. The material isn't terribly difficult to grasp. The text book that we use is very clear and almost simplified. It's just the teacher and the way he words his exam questions that makes the class hard. The raw average for the last two tests was a 58%. He prides himself on his hard exams and making us "THINK". He also enjoys watching us suffer on exams. But the good thing is, I hear he isn't teaching A&P in the fall. Perhaps, you may be in luck.

To heck with Wayne State! Who needs that nonsense from a power idiot!! Why let one person wreck your GPA? Don't perpetuate this rockhead by taking his class. Take A&P at WCCCCCCCCC or HFCC, pay less, do just as well. So you get into school a semester later - with your GPA intact. You'll learn just as much from the CC's A & P classes - they're tough, too! However, they're taught by instructors who are not as impressed with themselves as they are with seeing a student do well in their class.
Who needs the stress this guy shovels out? Not us! Let's support those teachers and institutions that support their students...not the ones who enjoy watching them wiggle.

Yes its hard as hell {not the class} but exams are brutal. Considering it's the only class you would be taking you may have more in you to devote to it. My suggestion unless you just want to challenge yourself which is too understandable, go to HFCC. Dr. Turner Radtke. Enough said. Good teacher, you will learn alot, bark is louder than bite, show up, you don't need to buy a book unless you just want to, easy A. AND you will receive priceless material to use in nursing school. you'll be the envy of all your peers.
