A&P -- just have to share my excitement!

Published

I'm currently in my first semester of A&P.

I had my first lecture exam a few weeks ago over tissues, integument, inorganic chemistry, and the directional terms. I made an 84!

I had my first lab exam this week over the bones and skeletal physiology, integument, and tissues. I made an 87!

I am absolutely ecstatic right now!!

Oh, the muscles. We just started on that last week. I'm not so scared of memorizing them (I did fine memorizing the bones and bone markings), but the physiology. OMG. Just looking at my book right now is giving me a headache. I'm so glad there are other people at the same place as me. My husband is awesome about supporting me, but he has NO CLUE. He keeps comparing everything to law school. I know that was hard, and I would probably fail it, but this is hard too!!!

Thanks for the venting opportunity! Good luck everyone!

I have to join this conversation. I LOVE MY A&P CLASS, AND INSTRUCTOR. He takes his time to teach us. I have an A so far, we're working on the second set of bones test...it's oral as well. He is intense but you learn so much! I have asked several times if he can teach A&P 2. I do agree that studying a little bit each day helps.
