Hi I'm new here hope everyone is well. I have been working in the prison as a nurse since qualifying last year and Ive been looking at moving somewhere different. The job is ok but at times its very boring. Have secured an interview for A&E I was just wondering if anyone could give me heads up on what they might ask me? I am so nervous xx

presumably you are in the UK? Will move this to the UK forum where there are several threads discussing interview techniques

4 hour target, Mid Staffs (Francis Report), Aggression, What preparation have you done for this post? Colchester? What have you done educationally since you qualified? ENP service? How many patients does the ED see in a year? Is it adult only or is it all ages?
These are SOME of the things they MAY ask. Have you been to visit the department? I strongly recommend it.
Good Luck, I have been in ED for 20+ years, it can be the best and worst place to work - sometimes all at the same time.
Should have added, if it is a band 5 post then it should be about you. What can you bring to the department? What relevant experience do you you have? How enthusiastic are you? Will you fit into the team?
This is great thank you.
