Hot things in the hospital. What is the trust message? How do you keep yourself up to date? What are the 6c's? Prepare yourself for "what if" scenarios, you found a patient on the floor, angry relative wants to make a complaint, you saw staff members arguing in the corridor, you saw something you realise was bad practice. A member of staff asked you to do something that you werent comfortable doing what would you do?
Brush up on their policies for recognition of early deteriorating patients and escalation. Maybe a question on triage.
What are the government policies surrounding aNe such as waiting times (4 hours) and does your trust breach them (ours does but sssshhhh dont tell anyone)
whats the trust message? "we work as a team and we work best as one". and "we do what we say were going to do". stuff like that.
Good luck!!!!!

Hi there,
I recently moved to UK and started to work in a Cardiac Ward.
Because A&E is my passion I applied to do some Bank shifts in one of the Best UK Hospitals and my interview is next week. I have previous A&E experience but overseas, never on the NHS sistem. I really want to start in this area back again.
Can anyone tell me which should I study, or which type of questions they are going to ask (because is to do Bank shifts)?
I really use some help :)
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards,
Susana
