I would say that his delusion is pretty advanced. It really doesn't appear that he is in good enough shape to remain in the Oval for too much longer.  I don't expect devoted Trump supporters to acknowledge Trump's dangerous cognitive decline.  I do expect all manner of crazy stories to circle around his coming disability or death.

Yes, it hurt to have swallow the truth that I live in a country that would elect this man by the popular vote and the electoral college.  It hurt me to my core and I'll never get over it. But you might remember I've most past talking about that aspect, but as always feel free to repeat it again because like I said, it's the go to defense of Trump.

Still I'm trying to see all sides without derangement syndrome, and deep dive when necessary and I presented a couple of articles I've read on both sides of whether he's a fascist or not.

I think it's Democrat derangement syndrome that people think we want the economy to fail and Trump become a dictator fascist so we can see "I told you so".

They have also added the price of eggs and gas, which will be interesting to watch as the new tariffs go into effect. Did you know that the US imports significant quantities of both of these products, from Canada?

Gas is about the same, here, average, per Gas Buddy, is $4.29 per gallon.

Gas is down since this time last year.

I don't know that administration has much to do with either one.

You though, in the posts I included a few more that I didn't, claimed that both would increase due to the Trump administration.

I think I said it will be interesting to see the change when tariffs go into effect. He has been adding, lifting, shifting tariffs since February, so it's hard to tell if they are having any effect, yet.  

I do know that Canadian tourism is way down. My community has seen a 43% drop in Canadian traffic. The workers in Las Vegas were excited to have no tax on tips. Now they don't have the tips. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/las-vegas-tourism-canadian-slump-1.7607707

And the tariffs are bringing in billions in revenue each month.  Yes, it will be interesting to see what's happens.  It's also noted you seem to be softening your doomsday opinion of the tariffs.

It'll also be interesting to see how long Canadians continue to cut off their nose to spite their face.  One guy in your article talks about missing out on his trip to Vegas, missing a concert there he was looking forward to, and acknowledges and feels bad for hurting the workers of Vegas. but man, he's got to show Trump.  

I suspect they'll come around long before Trump is gone.  Especially to Florida when Winter comes.

Vegas has a few issues.  The backlash mentioned in your article is something I can relate to.  I've been going on average once a year for about 15 years.   I've seen resort fees come now to just about every hotel, those fees continue to increase, and now they all charge for parking too.  Just this weekend I thought I found a good deal for a 4 night stay.  Then was hit with the $50 night resort fee.  That was going to cost more than the flight.

So ... who's paying those billions in revenues? (Interesting use of language, there.)

I've softened my doomsday opinion on tariffs.  When the market crashed after his announcement, I think doomsday opinions weren't just armchair people like myself but investors and economists alike.  

It is Trump himself who has softened his position on tariffs, for the automotive industry for example and cell phones.  Thus Wall Street and others have acted appropriately.  

The billions in revenue is good but I don't don't think it's being put to good use, such as paying down the deficit, but instead it's funding massive increases in ICE and tax cuts for example.
