I am bothered that Trump is kowtowing to Putin. Pushing Ukraine to concede to Putin's wishes does not look like success to me. No matter how many times Trump says it, Ukraine did not start this war and they are not the aggressors.

Google "Treaty of Torsedillas" by which dominion over (aka ownership) of Turtle Island (aka the Americas) was divided between Spain and Portugal. Brokered by the Catholic pope.

Wanna start a pool on how long it takes trump to offer Alaska back to Russia?

Trump clearly has terrible judgment about people. During his last term, Trump took domestic advice from Mr Pillow. Now Trump is taking advice from a young woman who has daddy issues, even though his chief of staff tried to put distance between them during the campaign.  He's also swayed by Putin, who whispered advice into his ear about american elections and mailed ballots.  Weakest president ever.

Wow, I did not have raid Bolton's home on my "welcome to fascism " bingo card.
Take over the press, universities, courts and cities, yes.
Who will he go after next?

All of Trump's perceived political enemies should take note.  As we discussed previously, Kash Patel published his suggestion of a list of people that should be scrutinized.  Bolton was on that list so maybe the next target is also on it.

Have look at this below, and see if you can find any similarities between it and modern day America.

If nothing else it will give you an idea about what could be ahead. Sorry.

Oh, I saw this coming when he announced his first candidacy. I was just surprised he went after Bolton in particular. Maybe that's the only search warrant that the DOJ could get.

Trump has now unilaterally decided that it is illegal to deface the American flag.  Will Trump's wishes now carry more weight than the constitution?

How delusional is Trump?

"They call me the president of Europe, which is an honour.""

https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/politics/donald-trump-president-of-europe-397109/

Literally NO ONE has EVER said this.

More cognitive decline? Does he really think that just because he says it it is automatically true?

Dictator behaviour - "I say it, so it is true." There is three and a half more years of this nonsense.

And then along came Epstein. It's fascinating to watch magadonians try to hold trump accountable for his behavior. And that's not to mention those wielding him as a useful tool, Natural selection in action ...

Google Heather Cox Richardson. Better yet, search her name on The Bulwark YouTube channel. Some great interviews there.

And we have yet to see the files..... And Trump still isn't a fascist dictator eventhough we have been on the verge of Nazi Germany 2.0 3.0 and counting.

I think disagreed, as in past tense is more accurate. His poll numbers are tanking. Is that success?

It was November 5 2024. Remember when his poles were "tanking" then as well? Can never forget the poles in 2016 . Totally tanking then too. Haha. Nobody takes poles seriously anymore. Except certain types that will take any pole seriously as long as it is in their favored propaganda.....

That's the "go to" with some people: he won the popular vote and won the election.  So obviously despite fear mongering about a "fascist regime" he became President.  That is continually thrown in our face.

But it was close.  Almost half of voters considered him a fascist and just because he won the popular vote and the election does't mean they didn't think so.

People can make all kinds of claims and comparisons about whether or not we are in a fascist regime or that he's leading us towards one.  I think that might be a fair discussion without the left fear mongering things that won't happen or the right saying "well he won the election and the popular vote and this is what people want".  Somewhere in the murk there might be something to see.

Close but not close enough.  And notably the popular vote was won not just the electoral college this time. A favorite narrative in 2016 to 2020. Probably hurt to not have that anymore. Pretty sure it was in part the ridiculous incessant "fear mongering " that saw the democrat loss. Doesn't look like the lesson has been learned. Oh well. Keep on keeping on. One day if we are really lucky, we will all live in Trump's fascist dictator state so all the democrats can celebrate being right. All be worth the "I told ya so".
