This thread should help you are was talked about this year. You will need to speak Italian fluently, may have issues if not from a EU country getting a work visa and there is also a link for their nursing board

Michael, Can you speak Italian? I am sure you will find you are required to be fluent in the language, also need to register with the governing body in Italy and then I would say it is a case of approaching hospitals for work
