Al Kharj Military Hospital

Hello guys. I am a newbie here. I applied as Staff Nurse in an agency here in Manila. By GOD's wisdom, I passed the exam and interview by the employer of the hospital which is held in Hotel Sofitel in Manila. Now, the agency wants me to get my papers authenticated. I have my credentials authenticated (red ribbon) already by DFA. My problem is, I got it authenticated by UAE embassy. Do I need to get a new authentication again or is it possible to get my credentials authenticated by Saudi Embassy even though it is authenticated by the UAE Embassy? Thanks :)

what a situation maybe its because summer

hi hve you been to the agency? whats the news?

yup, i already passed my authenticated documents, no updates so far..

they said, just wait for the call.

hi to all, I am also an applicant of Al Kharj, under Arjoys agency. and after reading all your posts, made me so ambivalent now if I should pursue with my application or not. they are asking for a very big money from us, and will let us wait that long. I can't even believe that until now, there are still applicants from last year's batch that are not yet deployed by the agency.... I have an aunt who is working there for 5 years now, and the hospital is good, the accommodation and benefits are all good. She is telling me that it will be worth the wait... but I don't know really.. Can't decide. *sigh*

For those who are asking if Al Kharj and RMH are the same. NO, they are not. Previously, RMH was called Al Kharj Riyadh Military Hospital, but when it branched out, it was independently called RMH and the branch, was then called Al Kharj Military Hospital, the one we applied for. It is located in the rural area, or sort of provincial hospital here in our place. It is only less than 150 bed capacity hospital. :nurse::yawn:

Hmm Around 100++ nurses were recruited for a 150 bed hospital. Granted that around only 70-80 nurses would be deployed that is still a lot of nurses for Al Kharj. (There are probably loads of senior nurses there too).

Probably some would be deployed in RMH, methinks.

Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defence and Aviation (MODA)

MODA provides defense against primarily external threats. It includes the Saudi Arabian Army, the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, the Royal Saudi Air Force and Royal Saudi Air Defence. MODA operates nine hospitals which provide care to the soldiers of MODA and their dependents:

  • Riyadh Military Hospital Al Kharj, Riyadh (1,000+ beds);
  • Prince Sultan Cardiac Center, Riyadh (150+ beds);
  • North West Armed Forces Hospital, Tabuk (350 beds);
  • King Fahd Military Medical Complex, Dhahran (316 beds);
  • Armed Forces Hospital at King AbdulAziz Airbase, Al Khobar (280 beds);
  • King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital, Jeddah (200+ beds);
  • King Faisal/King Fahad Hospital, Khamis Mushayt (total 258 beds);
  • Al Hada Hospital, Taif (500+ beds);
  • Hafr Al-Batin Armed Forces Hospital, Hafr Al-Batin (300 beds);
  • Wadi Al-Dawassir Hospital, Wadi Al-Dawassir (100 beds).

I have read that article as well.

I also asked one of the staff at Arjoy's once if they would have a counterpart agency or we will be directly under MODA, she said we will be directly under MOH.

But I knew it would be MODA because it is a military facility.

Sigh, more confusion.

no water supply in a hospital??? maybe their accommodation is not beside the hospital itself that's why..

thanks mickey for enlightening us about al kharj and RMH.. i believe it will be worth the wait if the applicant has still work here in the philppines or just recently passed her resignation ^_^

yes! I already passed ol my authenticated documents and pay the necessary fees, I'm just waiting for there col for medical but, y itz too long. The one who have a relatives in Al Kharj I just want to ask if your aunt also waited for too long before she was deployed at Al Kharj Hospital? Its ok to wait if its worth enough.

if it's worth the wait, then I'm very much willing to wait..

another monday is coming.. hope that there will be an update about our applications @ arjoy's

yeah hopefully there will..

i heard from another agency, who is also handling al kharj and rmh, that these hospitals are really taking too much time for the processing of visa.. that's why the applicant's medical are expiring in most cases.. hopefully al kharj has developed a more systematic way of processing and a afster one
