I start my RN to MSN program with on 9/1. I'm looking to get a laptop in the $1,500 or less range to allow me greater choices as to where I will study, do homework, etc. Do any of you have any experience with the HP Spectre X360 as that laptop seems to be a very good fit?

If you, a family member, or a friend have the HP Spectre X360, how do you like it? Do you have the 13” or 15” model? What made you pick the Specte? What led you to the 13” or 15”?

Thank you!

Honestly, you do not need to spend that much. I have been going to college online and my laptop cost me less than $400 from Staples. Check the weekend sales ads for deals. Unless you actually want to spend that much.

When I have free time (not often, but it does happen), I like to do light gaming. The cheaper laptops tend to have trouble with light gaming.

Mill ask my son what we be ugh him for Christmas that supports his gaming (he's going into IT soon....just turned 18!).

FWIW, keep in mind that windows 10 is having its fair share of issues and is not yet compatible with 's webcams.

My kid wanted Windows 7 because of the issues with windows 10 but the gaming stuff has to do with the Core i5 or whatever as I'm sure you are already familiar with. This computer supports all of his gaming and schools needs as he is an "admin" for some online games already...

We were on a budget and I did get extra insurance on the laptop that covers any issues we may encounter.

If it will show up correctly this is what we bought even though it says windows 10 but what we got really was windows 7 intentionally:

I used windows 10 for both of my last OA's. No problems.

Cool, I wasn't aware it was fixed. I personally had many issues with windows 10 when I upgraded on my personal computer though and while I understand that "working out the kinks" happens....Microsoft was not very forthcoming with letting the public know just how many issues their were.

Wow (and spellcheck just tried to change that word to meow :cat: ) once again, spellcheck is not my friend! Mill was supposed to be I'll & be ugh was supposed to be bought...sheesh...I guess I need to be more diligent in checking my spellcheck!
