Hi all, Starting RN to BSN on Dec. 1 also. Thirty -three credits to do. Would like to follow you all to see how everyone is doing, including myself! Have done lots of studying on Biochemistry.(webinars,youtube,etc.). A little scary, but I only work 2 12's a week. And I see LOTS of positive attitudes . Good Luck. Will check back !

Howdy all! I'm starting December 1st as well. I would really like to complete the program in 6 months if that's still realistic. I need 37 cu's to get my BSN. Let's see if we can help to keep each other motivated.

WGU's biochemistry is not the type of course in which you'd want to spend any significant amount of time studying. Essentially, just rip the band-aid off, start completing the tasks and submit them ASAP. Do not worry about perfection. If the TaskStream graders have an issue with any of your submissions, they'll let you know which part you need to correct.

I passed the course in three weeks by cutting to the chase and submitting the tasks. Three of them had to be resubmitted, but this was less time-consuming than spending time studying the material. I wish you all the best of luck!

I am a Jan 1 starter with 40CU to take. Good luck everyone. You can do it!!

Hello Everyone! I am starting RN-BSN December 1st as well. I have 31 Credits to complete. I work FT but that still gives me 3-4 days a week to complete school work. Excited to start and hope to finish in one term if possible. Good Luck everyone! any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated if they enhance and speed up your course work.

Yea def no need to actually study separate from the tasks in Biochem. You just open the tasks and are pretty much studying as you finish the tasks and figure out what they want. I finished 4 tasks in less than 2 weeks and all before my program started. I submitted and am now working on my 5th. I also read thru all I need and did my reassessment for Care of Older Adults. As soon as my web cam gets here Im taking the test. I'm determined to bust thru this program. I have 34 CU to finish too. I'm hoping to get to community health before the end of the year. ?? good luck everyone it's completely doable. For everyone willing to put in the effort!

Can I ask how you finished 4 tasks BEFORE the program started? That does sound like a plus! Thanks

Orientation starts on the 15th of the month before your start date, once that is complete, your degree plan will be open and you can view your classes and see the tasks and do the readings etc. You can't submit anything until your start date but you have access to it before. I did the same thing and had biochem tasks ready to go and had done reading on care of the older adult. It's a great way to get a jumpstart on classes!
