Any WSU applicants for Spring 2014?

I'm applying to WSU CON for Spring '14, and just took the TEAS over the weekend. Just wondering if I have any other company here? :)

I didn't buy any books because I didnt get my schedule yet. Did you?

Not yet. I did however look up them up and it amounts to $900! I'm just curious if they are ALL required. I've heard that not all the books are used, so maybe I should wait for the schedule as well.

Yes they are expensive. My friend said she bought all of them and some of them she didn't even open. I am guessing that the ones that are recommended we don't really need, just the ones that are required. Wish we knew if they were helpful or not. Did you look it up on WSU bookstore website? Or did you try looking online for better deals?

I looked at WSU and Amazon. So far they are only about $10-20 cheaper. Some new books come with CD's and whatnot that you don't get with used. I just want to be prepared in time for classes :)

Oh yeah it'll be nice to get it done by the time school starts. I think our schedules should get mailed on December 20th :)

So I got my schedule and I bought 13 books that are required online and also a clicker that we will need for one or more classes. I spent $509 but I dont know if I should purchase recommended books. Also, we have to pay 139 for ATI Skill modules. I am not sure how much for scrubs and stethoscope. Did anybody else buy their books

Thanks lady! Hopefully I will receive something in the mail this week :) I'm happy to hear you got some good deals on the books. I was nervous about dropping $1000 bucks just on books alone.

Yeah if you add everything up and save on each book it's worth it! So check out half.com and maybe ebay auctions.

Thanks! I will definitely give those websites a try! I have a crazy question regarding financial aid...it shows on zzusis that the funds for the 2013-2014 Aid year will be dispersed on 01/03/2013. Now the funds for Fall will be considered the 2014-2015 aid year...correct?

Yes I believe so! Since we are starting spring quarter, financial aid that we got was calculated for 2013-2014. We will have to apply again for fall!
