I just applied today. I took my HESI yesterday. Now the wait begins...

I have a question though...does ANYONE know when the January or March start dates are--or what they were in the past?

What uniform does TCC use? Sentara has pretty nice ones...I see them at Panera all the time for lunch.

I think even the fall applicants still have to wait til may to hear the results to see if they made it in the program. the cohorts start class the same day as everyone else start. The uniforms are blue polos and khaki pants. Good luck!

Jan starts the first day of spring semester. March starts the first day after spring break. Uniforms are a blue polo and white pants. There is also an optional vest or lab jacket. They are really nice for the amount of pockets they have.

Ivikatasha.. I started the program this semester. a lot of my classmates, including myself, can't figure out how to read all the chapters assigned and study for the tests. We have our first test on Monday and a lot of us have neglected some of our readings to try to study. And now our tests are going to be every Monday. Is there a system you use so you don't fall behind on your reading but still have time to study?

The reading is a part of the studying, at least it is to me. I will tell you what I did but it may not work for everyone. I read the relevant chapters at least once, but I didn't try to learn or understand while I read, so it made for quick reading. For learning and understanding the material I went to the lecture notes, I really focused on those. If there was something in the notes that I needed more info on I went to the book to clarify. I also paid attention to the boxes of info in the book. I also used mynursinglab to see where I may be weak, it will give you certain sections to read in the book after you take the pre-test.

The other nursing classes do not have a weekly test, just get through this class!
