I just started this class. I'm trying to figure out if the textbook is necessary.

Too many things to read in this class, I doubt if the textbook is necessary. I'm not palnning to buy the textbook because I may not have the time to read it. Thanks for your post.

ladyd123, I am actually taking both of these classes too. The geriatric class is not bad, but the vulnerable population class is just absolutely ridiculous. Do they actually think we read all of this crap! Do think they will actually call the person we interview in the geri class?

This is incredible. Do you know that you must send a copy of your windshield for plagiarism check first before submitting it for marking. I'm still writing my windshield, this assignment and readings are much to handle, I'm so scared. Did you buy the textbook?, do you think is necessary?, My problem is that I may not read the textbook if I buy it, there are too many things to read, Its indeed a crap. The geriatric is very good to handle, but vulnerable is something else.

In any class, if there is more than one or two chapters to read a week then i don't do the reading. There isn't time.

Once you get by in week 2 in vulnerable it gets better! All threads on here warn about week 2. Don't stress, it's ok if you can't find data for everything, add citations for your references with each graph you populate and answer the questions based on the data you were actually able to find. Good luck!

In it with y'all. So far it seems just like any other UTA RN-BSN AP class...just follow directions. Yes, I bought the text, and have found it useful. I think it was specifically stated in the directions not to have graphs, though, to write out stats.

They certainly may have changed it! But I had graphs galore!

When I took the class I didn't use graphs in the papers. We had to write it all out (painful haha). And I actually took the time to read assigned readings for this class. They were interesting to me though.

I learned a valuable lesson. Apparently I submitted to the week one hyperlink which was incorrect. I received zero. Hope they consider grading late. :/

I never had graphs. Lots of tables but no graphs.
