UT Arlington Spring 2014 Traditional

Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

Published

I am applying to the traditional program, at UTA, for Spring 2014. I am so worried and wondering what the applicant pool is looking like, for this semester. Can anyone who sees this post their GPA and considerations, so I can see, if I have a good chance of getting in? I thought this might put others' minds at ease, as well.

Here's mine:

Prerequisite GPA: 3.76

Science GPA: 4.0

No considerations.

Post yours! :)

I have applied to both on campus and APBSN for spring '14

overall gpa 3.6

Science 4.0

2 considerations

I applied for FALL '13 and didn't get in but I had calculated my GPA wrong so I've been working hard to bring it up. I hope it is good enough.

What are your considerations?

@Malory

Good luck! What was your gpa before?

What are your considerations?

previous degree (BS biochemistry)

And 30 units at UTA

3.1 but don't laugh, I thought it was a 3.8 when I applied. I hadn't realized UTA was looking at some really old grades. So I've redone some classes.

I think I'd prefer to do the online program but applied to both. I can't wait to start!

I think the AP program is more for people who are partnered. Are you partnered anywhere?

No, not partnered.

I'm partnered and I'm applying for the third time..I can't wait till October!! I really hope to get in!

I really hope I get in. I only applied for the traditional one.

Bsierra, what's your gpa? And what was your gpa the other times you applied?

My science is 3.5 but I'm re taking a class right now.

I'm not sure what my overall GPA is..I'm really hoping being partnered helps!

Good luck!
