Hi All,

I am just curious, reading on these forums it looks like there is a big difference in pay rates. If it is not against the rules on this forum I would like to do a salary and benefits survey. I would appreciate if you would take the time to do this. Maybe it will help all of us get better contracts

Rates are going to vary widely even in the same agency depending on location as well as needs of the facility.

There are so many other things to also concern yourself with than what you have listed here before selecting an agency, as well as facility.

It may not be against the rules here to devulge salary but it is in my contract.

Now the rest I'd be glad to fill in.

Job title: Chronic hemodialysis RN/sometimes staff, sometimes charge.

Travel Company: Foundation Medical Staffing a division of Comp Health

Salary: I'm satisfied, If I weren't I'd move on.

Free housing: Yes I meet the criteria for free housing. Nicety of housing depends on location.

Free utilities: see free housing. All paid except local phone and cable. I rarely get a local phone I have good cell phone coverage.

Vacation: One week per year.

No sick time.

Housing pay back is $8 per hour. I've been sick but never charged for it.

Chronic Hemodialysis.

BC/BS out of OK. I've used it in Maine, WV, SC, and now in PA. $30 co-pay for doctor's visits. My medications cost approximately $350 retail for 90 days I just refilled them for $ 141. And I pay NO premiums.

I've gotten the same pay in NC as I did in CA. Always > $30.

Actually, my salary is my fee. Just as an electrician has a fee I have a fee for my services. Take it or leave it. I'm a Registered Nurse there is a nursing shortage in this country. Of nurses willing to work.

It would be nice if the majority thought this way.
