Travel Agency with short term contracts

Does anyone know of a decent travel agency that has shorter assignments like 4-8weeks? Preferably in California?

Depends on the assignment, I know of several OR positions out here that are four weeks in length.

Many short term contracts involve strike breaking.

Fastaff and US Nursing handle many of those.

I have no other knowledge other than that as I do not strike break, nor work for companies that intentially do so.

I am just completing an 8 week assignment in California with American Traveler. They submitted my profile to hospitals with my request for shorter assignments and I got several interviews. My specialty is L&D, but I'm betting they would have ER positions like that too!Good luck to you.

Never heard of them. Be very careful with what they provide.

On Assignment is a great company for short time contracts. They pay very well, provide free PRIVATE Housing, and my recruiter can be reached at anytime night and day. Have traveled with others who were bad to say the least. Won't leave OA though.
