Hello all! I was wondering if anyone knew of a great travel agency that hired Mother-Baby/ couplet care or postpartum nurses.

Hi queen2y... did you get any info on m/b cc travel?? I am interested and cant seem to find any nurses who work in this area!

All agencies have such positions but they are not as plentiful, or pay as well, as L&D. More often hospitals get L&D travelers who will float to MB or PP.

Thanks for posting. It seems misleading, if that's the case because I see so many jobs in this area but I know deliveries have their "peak seasons" and just wondering how consistent a traveler would be on assignments in this field of nursing.

I am not a post-partum nurse or a L & D nurse or a MB nurse but am currently on an assignment that wanted to add med-surg to this well-known hospital. They haven't had med-surg patients as anticipated so I have been doing post-partum on mothers who have babies in NICU, or ante-partum on pregnant woman who aren't yet viable so have not fetal monitoring or taking care of women who have had fetal demise. I am a fish out of water. That being said, check out some agencies that staff Houston Texas Children's Hospital and you may some openings.
