I Want To Become An Intinerant Travel Nurse Seeing As I Dont Have A "Tax Home" Does Anyone Know The Details About This? I'm Under The Impression You Still Recieve Meals And A Stipend That's Taxed With A Higher Hourly Wage, Correct Me If I Am Wrong. Also Will Recruiters Work With Me?

The way it usually works is you still get the housing stipend and per diem but it is taxed as ordinary income. Your hourly rate stays the same.

If it was me as a single person I would plan this out ahead of traveling if I really wanted to travel. Be smart, follow tax guidelines and reap the benefits.

Find a place you like as a vacation spot that is in a compact state(why not get a license that covers more states). Think about places like the mountains of Colorado or the beach. Buy an affordable condo there and make it your tax home. Transfer all licenses and bills to that location and use that as your official home address. In a place like CO or the gulf coast you can even get a seasonal job and work close to home during the prime time of the year and work as a traveler from where you want the rest of the year.
