How Many Licenses do you Have?

Im a New Traveler and just curious in regards to how many Nursing Licenses do you have? What do you think are the top 5 states to have a license in?

How do you keep up with your licenses and do you let them expire?

I live in a non-compact state, so any tips or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have AZ CA and I am now working on getting IL. I sent in my application, but I'm waiting to hear back. I'm considering getting a MA license since I'm not sure if I would be able to get a job in IL. Anyone have any advice about Chicago travel or agency nursing? How long does it take to get an MA license?[/quote']

It took me 10 weeks to get approved for MA. But I had a hold up, so hopefully that's worst case scenario.

MA requires every license ever held to be verified. Should be less than a month if every license is on Nursys.

I hold 5 licenses: WA, CA, TX, TN, IA. TX was my initial license, WA is my home state, CA and IA for family, TN was my previous residence.

I keep them all current.
