Want to Relocate to Dallas area/Texas Health Resource

U.S.A. Texas

Hi I am a Florida RN who has a license in Texas--Just got my permanent license in Texas. I have not applied anywhere. I am interested in Texas Health Resource just based on the what I have read on their site. I am not getting the best vibe from Baylor, I have heard others refer to it as Big Bad Baylor as if it were a bully.

I am seeking a non clinical position. I am currently working Florida but promised my current employer I would stay in this position for a year---I can't see that happening. I took a huge pay cut with this job due to an injury and find myself doing some serious budgeting and being unhappy.

I have never relocated out of state before. I am not sure if I should go ahead and apply to positions in Texas or wait and stay with the company I am currently with...even though the pay is AWFUL and I am not happy because of the pay and it isn't challenging enough.

I would like to get into infection control or risk management. I have never worked in this capacity. Is Texas a tough nursing state. How is there pay?? I have 81/2 yrs under my belt.

Thanks in advance for the info!!:heartbeat
