UTMB Spring 2014 Applicants

The application process has just gotten under way for UTMB spring admission. Has anyone taken the TEAS tests? Any helpful hints on getting a high score?

I can not believe that no one has heard anything yet. We are nearing the six week mark after deadline, I thought for sure the people with exceptionally high TEAS scores (85+) would have heard something by now. However, I called the main line number for BSN admissions and I was told late August early September at the earliest. Again, Good luck everyone!

I thought the same thing as you! Every day I log on in hopes of seeing some people posting "I'VE BEEN ACCEPTED!!!". Last semester people were accepted as few as 4 weeks after!! Thanks for letting us know what they said when you called though!! And good luck to everyone, positive vibes all around!

Even though it will create a sort of frenzy in all the applicants I can not wait for someone to say they have been accepted. At least we will know there is some sort of activity at the admissions office for Spring 2014 applicants. Hopefully someone does hear something before welcome weekend for the incoming fall class!

Actually, last semester's applicants didn't hear back until June. There were very few people who found out before that. Don't get your hopes up because it probably won't be any time soon.

I wonder if its because it is summer and maybe some people are on vacation? That might slow the process. Ive been logging on hoping to see if someone got in also just so I know about when people are getting accepted. It is definitely a wait filled process, all you can do is wait and hope... and pray like crazy!!! But end of august is like 2 weeks away. Woohoo! Thanks for calling!

I do appreciate the applicants from fall 2013 advice. However, I am and I believe hallie.y is referring to the applicants that were accepted during the first few months after the deadline, not people on the wait list. The fall 2013 cycle postings earliest acceptance was march 10th and the deadline was February 15. Again, thank you for the words of advice! Cheers!

That is what I'm referring to, and some of the students applying to spring 2013 heard as soon as July something. No doubt some of us will be dragged on a long painful road, but hopefully some of you lovely people hear something in 2 weeks!! And congrats to you smak1013!!! =]

The UTMB SON website says the info session next month is "special" and for "applicants only" ohhhhh I'm intrigued lol

Hey! I was an applicant for the Spring 2014 cycle too! I noticed a lot of people on here are talking about information sessions. Where can you find out about them on the website? I have been looking all over and I can not find anything about them!

Fabzam93 Hi! you can go on the website and under the future students tab you can click on open house and it has a bunch of dates you can register online for a info session. Hope that as helped :)
