UTMB Fall 2013

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hello! I searched the site and seen no one made a topic about the people trying to enter in Fall 2013 so here is it  I am applying to UTMB for Fall 2013. I've written my personal statement and filled in the application. Now i'm waiting on nursing CAS to receive all my transcripts and to take my TEAS test on Jan. 8. I'm so nervous. How is everyone else coming along?

I am trying to apply for fall of 2014. I plan on applying once I finish with my fall 2013 classes. The problem is I wont be finished with my classes until December 30 and I think the deadline is Jan 14. Will I still have enough time to apply before the deadline?

You can fill out your entire application and have it ready to go, so that once you're done with school, you have 15 days to get them your transcript. The deadline was extended to Feb 15th this year so maybe it'll be extended again next year too?

Ahhh I'm so nervous because May is almost over which means we should hear something soon :nailbiting: My my star finally went back to complete I'm so anxious & Excited because I got an A in my Stats class which should look good lol.

Congrats! Hopefully we both hear something..

Question?? Anyone heard anything about baptist health in San Antonio? I got an acceptance email this morning ? I applied there a few days before their deadline and totally forgot about it lol. It's an ADN program. I was so nervous about only applying to utmb, wharton, and blinn b/c wharton ( I got rejected) and blinn ( where I got in) have small programs. I'm still trying to hold out for good ol utmb b/c it is a BSN program. My nails literally look like nubs lol from the stress endured these past few weeks

Yay! Congrats girl! I'm sure that's one big sigh of relief

No answer yet :(. I've already accepted texas tech but would risk all the money I've already spent to go to Galveston. Has anyone heard of any denials or ANYTHING?

Nothing yet for me

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. this is getting tedious.

Nothing yet for me either. I have been waiting...not very patiently haha! I called yesterday and they said that they were going to try and have all decisions made by the end of next week, or the first week of June at the latest. I am still crossing my fingers to get in! I hate this waiting game and the constant state of limbo I am in! I hope to hear soon.

I have been check this forum lately and I really like all your information. I also apply to UTMB and this school is my first choice. Still now, I haven't heard from the school yet, and I guess my chance to be accepted is very slim. However, I got accepted into Chamberlain College of Nursing in Houston, but their tuition concerns my choice a lot. Plus, I am not sure about the school accredited because I saw on the BON post the school status for approval is INITIAL. Also right now I am taking the Pharmacology as the next step to apply to the ADN of Coleman Health Science. If I finish this course with a C or better, I will get into the ADN program of the school. I would like to hear back from all of you about the Chamberlain College of Nursing.

I heard they were good, and it is expensive. But all schools had to start somewhere as far as accreditation goes

Still nothing here.....waiting patiently
