UTMB Fall 2013
Yes, everything is transferred through Chamberlain except they did not accept my philosophy class, and I had two philosophy classes in college. I have to retake a philosophy course at Chamberlain and I do not like philosophy at all. Besides, they ask us in our Nursing curriculum one business class, and I had two business class from 2 different school still I have to retake the business again. However, I changed my mind not to pursuit the BSN at Chamberlain. Instead, I got accepted into Coleman which is a community college that I got all my credit. The philosophy class just drive me crazy, and they ask me to take the sociology class. Out of my 77 credits that I earned for my Associate degree, Chamberlain took just 47 credit. The requirement to be graduated with BSN from Chamberlain is 129 credits, so it is going to be a lot of pressure for me for the next two years both in the schedule and the financial. I hope these information of mine help you, feel free to ask me anything related to the Chamberlain School of Nursing.

UTMB Fall 2013
Patrick, it is depend on the area that you live right now to make your decision. As your posting, I would say HBU is the best place to go even though their tuition a little bit expensive but you will get some scholarship with the school since private institution always give a lot of scholarship to students who are qualified. Beside, I checked the NCLEX rate among the nursing school in Houston, HBU has the best score 100 %, other school NCLEX is much lower. So HBU nursing program would be your best choice if you can afford for the tuition just about 2 years then it will pay off when you graduate and work in the medical field. I missed the Hesi for Reading part to apply to HBU for the fall 2013 and I retook it but I got into Chamberlain Nursing school. Anyway, that is my opinion, and all decisions are up to you. Good luck Patrick.

UTMB Fall 2013
Yes, I got email said that I were on wait list as well. But I am concerned about the necessary document that they mentioned in the email. We have to get those document ready if we have a chance to get in the call list of admission for this fall. Are those document about the vaccination, finger print check, and what else? I don't understand much about the finger print for this school much. So far, I have done my finger print for the Community college that I attended right now and it is the ADN program. I am still placing my hope on the SON if I have my luck. If some one knows about these document specifically, please post on the forum so other people can understand more. Thanks a lot.

UTMB Fall 2013
Have you got any friends that going to Chamberlain? Please let me know. I have an appointment next week with the financial department at Chamberlain to see how my tuition and is there any chance of getting any scholarship there. The Pharmacology at Coleman is crazy difficult. We had gone through the first 2 weeks with 20 chapters to study and the first test done today. It was just crazy test and I did not do well on that test. Plus a client of mine told me the ADN program at Coleman is super hard and even she graduated from that school but she would not recommended to anyone. Lol.

UTMB Fall 2013
I have been check this forum lately and I really like all your information. I also apply to UTMB and this school is my first choice. Still now, I haven't heard from the school yet, and I guess my chance to be accepted is very slim. However, I got accepted into Chamberlain College of Nursing in Houston, but their tuition concerns my choice a lot. Plus, I am not sure about the school accredited because I saw on the BON post the school status for approval is INITIAL. Also right now I am taking the Pharmacology as the next step to apply to the ADN of Coleman Health Science. If I finish this course with a C or better, I will get into the ADN program of the school. I would like to hear back from all of you about the Chamberlain College of Nursing.
