I am applying to UTHSC Houston - Fall 2013. Anybody else?

Do anybody know if there any bike rack around school where I can lock my bike? If so, can you tell me where in specific, please?

Hi everyone! I have been following this discussion board for awhile, I finally decided to post something lol. I am surprised the school has sent out acceptances already! Congrats to everyone who has gotten accepted, I hope others, including myself hear some GOOD NEWS soon!! :up: I am trying to stay positive...

Congrats to everyone who just got their acceptance! If you don't mind, would you share your stats with the rest of us still waiting. And does anyone know how they send out acceptances? Is it in one big group, or a little at a time? Thanks in advance. Here are my stats.

Prereq gpa- 3.94

Science gpa- 4.0

Hesi test- 94

Critical thinking-790

I know a lot of people who are going to apply for Spring are also reading allnurse to get more information. This site has been a great help for me, so I'm going to post my stats as well. Hope this helps many of you!

Prereq gpa - 4.0

Science gpa - 4.0

Hesi overall - 92.4% (Took twice)

Critical thinking - 840

I took Hesi twice because I failed the vocabulary part for the 1st try. I was little bit concerned about taking Hesi twice because I have read the posting saying something like taking Hesi twice wouldn't look good on your file. But now, I can prove that it didn't affect at all. I also took Hesi 1 week before the deadline. So, I think those who are going to take Hesi right before the application deadline, make sure you take it through Elsevier and check with school. Regarding the transcript evaluation, I still haven't received one yet, and I'm not sure if I'm ever going to. So, I don't think receiving a transcript evaluation or not means anything to affect the acceptance. It's just nice to see which of your classes are transferable and school reflects them right on the record though! I hope this info will help you ease your nerve! I'm praying for those who are still waiting to hear from school, and I know you will!

I received my acceptance via email for Fall 2013! I cried when I read it because I can't believe it is finally happening. I guess we are supposed to accept or decline by April 1? Is anyone else waiting for acceptance for TWU Houston Nursing? If they send out letters (and I am accepted) before April 1st I don't know which school I would pick! Anyone undecided yet like me?

Congrats!! It will be a hard decision, they are both good schools. I am still waiting to hear something from UTHSC. I pray I get in! What were your stats, if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you! I don't know my GPA off the top of my head. I am an A/B student though with one C. I retook Micro once from a D to A. My overall HESI score was 90 or 91%. Right on the edge lol. And good luck!

I received my acceptance email too!! I just need to decide between UTHSC AND PRAIRIE VIEW!! What should I do??!?

I got my acceptance email from TWU today. Check your TWU email. I'm sticking with UT because it was my first choice.
