  1. Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has any idea when we will actually sign up for our classes? The only thing left on my to-do list are my vaccinations and physical.
  2. I called the student records office today, and they transferred me to the correct person. When I spoke with the lady on the phone she told me she didn't know the list yet and to call back later again this week.
  3. Just received my email! It was in my personal email account. Congratulations everyone! Decisions are supposed to be made by April 5th for anyone who didn't get an email. I have been accepted to UTHSC Houston as well though, so I may decline my spot...just not sure as of the moment. Don't give up hope yet!
  4. Ahh thanks for sharing. Well I am bummed I didn't get accepted right off the bat. But I am so thankful for UTHSC now. I am curious what # on the list I am. I know a lot of people applied to 3-5 schools. So time will tell for the rest of us!
  5. I have not received anything yet either! Congratulations to eveyone that got in! I hope they are doing it in batches since my last name starts with a Z...
  6. PLEASE tomorrow!
  7. Just received a response as well saying "Decisions regarding the pacesetter program will be made and announced in July." Now I really wanna know my decision for TWU!
  8. Thank you! I don't know my GPA off the top of my head. I am an A/B student though with one C. I retook Micro once from a D to A. My overall HESI score was 90 or 91%. Right on the edge lol. And good luck!
  9. Yes mine says that too! I really dislike the layout of myUTH. I use a macbook pro and not everything loads correctly. And sometimes I have to try to login 3 or 4 times because oracle error pops up. 1- point for UTHSC lol. And I think I will try calling!
  10. Exactly! I haven't heard back from any other schools yet, but if I had to make a decision between being in the pacesetter at UTHSC or the normal program at TWU I think I would choose TWU. The pacesetter program sounds like more work to me. But if I was in accelerated (which I guess is what they consider 'normal') I might have a harder time deciding. Maybe I could just call and ask what program I am in?
  11. I thought I read somewhere on another forum here that if your email said you were accepted for Fall 2013 your pacesetter, and if it said Summer 2013 your accelerated. I don't know for sure though. I have not received a letter in the mail yet. That might say for sure. I am just trying to figure it out so I can make my decision accurately by April 1!
  12. Or does the accelerated program also start in Fall??? Sorry for the questions I just don't really understand why they have two different programs if the only difference in time is 1 month?
  13. Thank you! I agree with you completely. Not having clinicals along with lecture seems so bizarre to me. It also seems like more work if you have to relearn the information. This might make my decision for me if I have to choose between UTHSC and TWU. Are you currently going to UTMB or recently accepted? I am confused though. I guess the accelerated program is the traditional program? Why call it accelerated then? And theres only a month difference between the two programs it says online? My acceptance email said Fall 2013 but it didn't mention which program I am. I read on another forum that since I am fall 2013 instead of summer 2013 I am automatically pacesetter.
  14. Thank you! No I don't. Working 40 hours and going to traditional nursing school sounds crazy to me. But I have heard of people that do it.
  15. It is pretty cool that I would graduate December 2014. But apparently with UT I would do most of my clinicals the very last semester (because I was accepted for their pacesetter program apparently) ...which I don't think TWU does. I don't know if this makes nursing school harder or easier? At first thought I think harder because of the time lapse between lecture. And for UTHSC we have to make a decision by April 1st! What we don't hear from TWU by then? UGH. More anxiety.
