TWU Fall 2013 Applicants

Hello everyone!

I am starting this thread... a year early. That is how much I want to be accepted into the Fall 2013 BSN program at TWU in Dallas. I am taking my TEAS on August 30 so that if I have to, I can take it again the following application period (after September 1). I have finished my prerequisites (last week of Summer AP2 right now, hurray).

I hope other people see this forum so that we can all talk and encourage each other about getting into the program (and be stressed out together)! Seriously hoping that this next year flies by! I Look forward to get to know other hopefuls!

I'll definently look into that if I get in! And they let us know in March? I though it was april??

So does anyone actually know how TWU sends out the acceptance letters? Do they send out a batch of emails to the students who have been accepted, and then wait to hear back, and then send out another batch and so on and so forth. And then do they send letters or emails to the people who were not accepted or put on the wait list? And do they only send emails to the accepted students or do they send them letters also? Good luck everyone!

They send out emails and letters to people who are accepted. Only letters to those who weren't. And yes they send them out in batches.

Has anyone recieved an email asking about core completion yet? I was told they would be sent out after the deadline for those without degrees, but nothing yet!

They didn't send out emails last semester about core completion. Or at least I never got one.

I believe they only send them out if you haven't completed the extra classes that they require for core completion and you don't have a prior degree. I am graduating this may so I can exempt out of the math and women's class. I saw a few posts about the emails from past forums and when I called about it they said they would send out emails asking and that's how they know if you will be core complete or not. But I guess not everyone applies to that lol. Just wondering if anyone is in the same boat I am.

Thanks ambre! What is the workload like? Do you have any free time on the weekends at all? Also, did you take patho before beginning classes?
