Texas Tech Traditional BSN 2013

Hello Guys!!I just wanted to create a new thread for the 2013 Texas tech BSN program! I will be applying this December (El Paso) campus. Is anyone else?

I am so excited and hopefully in the near future I can meet you all!

I am so nervous....but I am sure most of you all are feeling the same.

Gosh!! Feels awesome to see Odessa admits!! Hey y'all!! can't wait to see u guys at orientation!! But on another note, I'm worried about the into to nursing pre req. haven't gotten my admittance to the school itself even tho I applied a month ago and I'm worried that by the time I get accepted into the school that intro to nursing classes will be full!

I would be calling them and asking them about the delay b/c it should not take that long to get accepted!

ok thanks for the feedback. I feel the same way about just going straight for my BSN a year ahead of schedule and not worrying about the CNA. Worse case I'll apply again and still be done 4 years out of high school with my BSN....but I really want to do it in 3 because I can.

Does anyone know where we will access the summer online classes for TTU when they begin in June?

They will be on the TTU Blackboard. If you go to the main ttu.edu page, click on current students and then at the very bottom of the left hand column, click on websites and you can scroll down to Blackboard. I think they send you and email with the info, but this will get you there! Then I would recommend that you bookmark it b/c it is not the easiest link to find!! Hope this helps!

I'm still here! haha Just trying to get into this into to nursing class at tech. For everyone wondering, I called and the orientation for the nursing program is July 10-12... The odessa campus's will be on the 11th from 9am-6pm! Just to keep everyone updated on info :)

There's a hold that's usually on there called 'time ticket' which means you have to get the hold lifted by Stacy Rogers at the lubbock campus (she's the transient advisor).e

Hey grl ,actually I called them n they told me they hadn't yet recieved my transcript from my last school I was like wow. This entire time I had no clue tht was what was holding them up. Sheesh! I just pray the class is not full by now :-/

I have noticed that too and I have also seen a link for orientation information on the SON Admissions and Student Affairs page. I have thought about calling them to see if we can start on it even w/o having received the email yet, I just haven't done it!
