I am starting this for anyone who is applying for the TCC RN program in August.

I just finished chemistry this spring w/ an A... So I have 3B's & 1A in my sciences.. Would I be competitive? Cause this time they only look at sciences and HESI now? And for the HESI which sections are we suppose to take?

Hey all on this new thread. I have followed the fall 2011 for FOREVER. Congrats to those who got in and are about to start. I am taking a summer class at the TR campus and it's gorgeous!

I will apply to TCC for spring 2012 as well. MGorvie we have the same science gpa (3.25). So keep your chin up and ACE the HESI!! We are in this together! I have heard the HESI is easier than the TEAS from other posts on this site. Either way I need a FANTASTIC score the offset my lower GPA.

I also applied to WC a few weeks ago and will apply to TWU in a few weeks also. Surely someone will let me in!

It is wonderful to see everyone on here. I am applying to WC also next Thursday after I take the TEAS. How many points did you have. I heard 19 is competitive. I will post mine on Thursday.

I calculated 21 points. I hope I get in somewhere but TWU is my first choice!!!

Manow - If you are who I think you are, we just had Microbiology together this past spring at TCCNE. I was the dude at the end of the first row. If that IS you, good luck! I won't be applying until January because I am taking Chemistry in the fall. You can do it!

It totally is me and I know u! Good to hear from u. I am going to retake chem this fall too just in case 3.25 isn't enough to get me in. What else are u taking??

Good luck student123. Take your time cuz they give you plenty. I think I was the last of 3 students left at the end of our test. Alot of people were done so quickly it seemed. when are you taking it? Did you buy the study guide???

I am taking it on Thursday and I did get the study guide. I have 11 points before taking it, so it all rides on this. I just got my hep b shot today.

I think the study guide is a great one compared to the other ones out there. You can boost your points to 19 with a good score. It's 2 points per section right? I know you can do it!!! :)

Does TCC require all sections of the HESI ? Or just an overall score of everything ?

It actuall 3 points per section. I'm hoping to at least get 8 out of the twelve
