Congratulations!! Have you scheduled your appointment yet?

Somewhat off topic, but can someone tell me if you are allowed (in general) to apply while still taking your prerequisite courses (i.e. pharmacology, and pathophysiologic)?

I'm not sure what the "general preference" is at UTA but they will allow you to complete their final three classes while you are applying. I'm currently taking Pharm, Patho, Concepts, Sociology and Medical Terminology which is one of the upper division electives that they require. It's a load, but I had to be full time since I have scholarships.

Specializes in OR Internship starting in Jan!!.

Yeah, it took me a lot of soul searching, but I finally decided this was the best path for me. I am still trying to decide where to do my RN-BSN.

Good luck with your interview!! I'm a UTASoN '05 grad- you'll love it! The new sim hospital is pretty cool (I've only been able to peek in). Again, GOOD LUCK!!

When I attended UTA, those classes weren't prereqs, but I'm pretty sure that most of their applicants are currently enrolled in them...
