Role Call TCC Spring 09 hopefuls!

Hi! Got my application in yesterday. This is my second time applying so I hope I get in! The first time I wasn't done with my sciences, so it was to be expected I guess.

I've finished all of my prerequisites, all A's except for one B in A&P 1. My TEAS score was a 92 overall if I remember correctly (94 science, 92 math).

I'm not sure what field I want to go into yet. I'm sure I'll get to experience a lot of different options in nursing school.

wow thats awesome lizzie! i'm sure you will get in with marks like that :nurse: hopefully in a few months we will both be stressing over what steth and shoes to buy :rolleyes:

I've also applied for spring. I have a 4.0 in my pre-reqs, and I got a 92 on my TEAS test.

I can't wait to start. I'm taking some more general education classes that are requirements for UTA's BSN bridge, and I'm getting bored to tears.

Congrats on all of your hard work beta! I also have confidence that you will get in no problem With grades like that you should be proud of yourself- don't listen to the hyoe all it is good for is stressing us out beyond belief and making us question our already-proven strengths...

November's almost here; I'm getting so nervous waiting. According to the Spring 08 thread the letters came about a week into November.

To pass the time I'm taking Medical Terminology and Pharmacology along with a few other electives.

Oh my goodness its finally November!!! Has anybody heard any word on the letters? Like Lizzie said last yr they were out in the first week, but the yr before they came out mid-November. I'm so anxious now!! I have to keep myself entertained with new novels from Barnes and Noble to pass the time haha :)

Good luck to you all!!!!

I got a letter about 2 weeks ago letting me know that I didnt meet the math requirement. I didnt find out about the new math until right after I sent in my application. So it was no big surprise to me that I didnt get in. But no biggie - I am studying to re-take the accuplacer - so I'll re-apply next time.

Sorry about that stacygirl, I'm sure your time will come. I went to the very last information session, and I heard one person talk about having to take the test that same day because she had just found out about that math requirement. I can't imagine how stressful that must have been to have everything ride on that one test.

Oh my goodness Stacygirl that must be so frustrating! I'm sure you will get in no problem though in the fall. I called the office today and all that they told me was letters will be out by Thansgiving. THANKSGIVING!!!! That's 3 wks away! Uuughhh

Hey all!! I too am waiting. Today is Veteran's Day so I'm assuming no mail? I really don't expect it this week anyway. I'm hoping by next week though.

I too applied for Fall 08, but I was still taking micro. I made a 94 on my TEAS and have A's in everything but chem - got a B. Which was good considering most people flunked his class because we couldn't understand him. I too am working on some classes for my BSN - Tech Writing, World Lit, and 2 phys ed classes (mostly just for myself).

I wish everyone the best of luck! I'm just ready to know, either way. It's the not knowing that's the worst!
