Parkland Hospital - Good Place to Work?

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hi, I have a job interview with parkland next week for the Nurse Internship Position in L&D. I'm a little nervous about it. They want you to sign a 2 year contract. I'm a little reserved about that. Has anyone else here worked for Parkland recently? Do they have good benefits? How's the pay? Has anyone worked in L&D there? If anyone has any information, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks,

Heather

Oscar, when did you interview? How were you notified of your offer?

I interviewed November 3rd at 1:15 and had an offer on the 4th at 11:20. The occupational health paperwork starts the first week of December and is sent via email for sign up, just like the interviews. The ER Residency starts January 9th!

Does anyone know when the L&D residency starts? Thanks!

Thanks missfiesty!

For me, Parkland is my top choice but unfortunately I didnt get the l and d residency I interviewed for. So I moved to eagle pass and accepted an offer there, and I hope after experience I can come back and interview for Parkland and get in.

Does anyone know when we should start looking for the June GN applications? I want to work at Parkland really bad.

Hi! I am applying for the 2012 L&D June residency at Parkland, and was wondering if you ended up getting the position and taking it? I would love to hear more about it!

I have not heard anything. Have you heard anything at all?

I had an interview, but i havent heard when they are going to give out offers. i am trying to find someone who knows how long it usually takes or when they heard back.

Did you go to the GN orientation? I was going to, but I had a test the next day (I live in Houston).
