  1. We haven't actually started yet... We go to orientation on Monday the 25th! :) I'd probably check some other forums(like with earlier class numbers) and see what they have to say. We have just as many questions as you do! :) I will say, though, to do what's in your heart and follow your dreams! Have a nice day! (sorry, I've got a coffee high, lol)
  2. Congratulations to everyone!!! Can't wait to meet you all next month!
  3. djmatte: I'm going for class 111, too... it's gotta be this week because Monday the 14th is 6 weeks out. Biting my nails!!
  4. I know! Every time I get an email, my phone does a quick little vibrate... I'm going to be having palpitations every time I hear it. Hopefully it will be soon... fingers crossed... Good news is, on New Years Eve(which was also my 24th birthday), I just so happened to deliver my first baby!! Just happened to be at the right place at the right time. :) On the other hand, I'm starting to second guess myself with my application... So i went ahead and requested PTO for the June class just in case. :)
  5. Good luck!!! Sometime in the next 3 weeks for sure we will find out! :)
  6. Sooo the frontier facebook page said that it would definitely be after the new year before decisions are sent out. I'm sure we all knew this intuitively, but now we know for sure... so we can just relax through the holidays. Good luck to everyone and merry christmas and happy new year... (and happy birthday to me on December 31st!) haha -Heather
  7. Only about a month and a half left until we can expect to hear something! So excited!!
  8. I live north of Dallas. :) What about you?
  9. where exactly are you seeing this drop down list?
  10. CNM. Only about 3 more months of waiting!
  11. I had little manilla folders with brads and adhesive(they're actually what we use at work to save a fetal monitoring strip that wasn't recorded electronically, haha). I had a reference from an CNM I work with, one from my preceptor in L&D and one from my unit manager from my ER job. I just had them return them to me sealed.
  12. I'm not sure, but I'm very interested in an answer as well. The class I applied for (Class 111) has Bridge Bound scheduled for Feb 25. Well, the Texas BON was dragging they're feet getting my license posted due to, for lack of a better word, BS reasons, so it's dated for 2/21/12, even though I was working as a GN since 12/31/11(and an LVN for 2 years before that). I was told by a current student(this is what she did) that you can apply before your one year, just as long as you've been an RN for one full year by Bridge/Frontier Bound. Of course, I haven't heard anything about waiting lists or acceptance since it's too earlier for my class. I also did not ask them about it in fear that they would say that I must wait until after to apply. I just applied and let what will happen happen. Does anyone else have any insight on this matter? -Heather
  13. That's awesome ERICRN1985! So that's 6-7 weeks prior... so maybe we will hear something by the second week in January?! ERICRN are you FNP?
