Hello Kind People:

I will be in the San Antonio area (Fort Sam Houston) for two months mid September to mid November.

I want to take my little puppy with me and board her so that I could visit with her while on breaks from the classroom.

Any suggestions or personal insight into dog boarding in the Fort Sam Houston area? Kind of difficult to search for places when one does not really know the geographical area/location and know which ones are great and which ones are horrid places that you wouldn't board your left over lunch at.

Thank you

Camp Bow Wow, I boarded my dogs there and also used them for doggie day care. They were great. They are about 10 miles from post.

I can not think of the name of the place... but there is a doggie day care about 2 miles outside Fort Sam's gate at the little shopping center on the corner of Harry Wurzbach and Rittiman rd. I will be passing by there tomorrow. I will get the name for you.

Oh Hi....I guess that answers my last message to you, 'Athena'...ha ha.

I was browsing this thread because I need to find a place to keep my little dog in case I wind up going to OBLC there in San Antonio in January. Did you find a good place? Can you please let me know know if you did! My dog is my "child" & is really the only main worry I've had w/ any of my moves & decisions! I so worried I won't find a clean place to take good care of her.

Thanks everyone!
