wow I was speechless at the end of the order from amazon because my total was over $300 just for the Nursing skill I class.... I have not yet ordered mine yet but jeez... why are there so many textbooks for that one class?

@alex1987 are you also ordering 2nd 8week class textbooks as well?

I am pretty sure I ordered all the books I was suppose to.....EEK! I got them on Amazon for under 500. Lets hope thats all I need (at leaste for the first 8 weeks). Now that I've oredered them I am suddenly nervous I ordered all the wrong ones...UGH!

@kalisefer I agree with u specially cause 3 weeks ago I was an alternate and it's not just fair that they let people out of the program and accept these irresponsible chicks instead

@flylikeabird I'm getting book sonly for the 1st 8 weeks I think.. Nursing skills 2 uses the same books as Nursing skills 1 and the online class only requires 1 book

Are u guys am or pm? Just curious.. I have morning classes

Does anyone know if we purchase the digital books if there is an expiration date or some point in time we will no longer have access to the book? I have never bought any kind of digital book and I have some concerns. I have found out that they will work on the ipad2, but I am hesitant about purchasing any books being that I am still only an alternate.

besides the textbooks, was there something else Ms. Hagle said we needed to buy? I thought I heard her say something about packs? or nursing packs? I'm not sure, I was in the very back and couldn't hear her very well and she talks a little fast. I just don't want to miss anything

@ donnabil you mean packard math/conversion textbook? or are you talking about basic and advance packet?(this is for one of the class)

@alex1987 wow you have morning class? I have afternoon class. I tried to change but only few am people wanted to change their schedule to pm.

We have to buy a basic and advance kits for Nursing skill classes. If you check the book requirements the kits are listed only under Nursing Skill 2, but I guess we'll be using them on Nursing Skill 1 as well cause Ms. Hagel said we must have them for the 1st day of class. And by the way, we can only buy them in the bookstore ($169)

@flylikeabird I got afternoon classes at first too, but luckily the girl sitting next to me got morning classes and since her friend had pm classes then we changed schedules . It's weird it seems like most people got the pm schedule... everybody around me had pm (except for that girl) and then I asked today some girls that are in my micro class and they got afternoon too... shouldn't it be 25 people am/25 people pm? I guess that's how it is, but it's just weird that I haven't found anyone else that is gonna be in am classes too.

@flylikeabird, it took me like 3 hours to search and find the best deals and suppliers, and I only think I got everything I needed..... heres to hoping!

Do we have to order the packs from the bookstore online or will they have them there for purchase??

Also, I have morning classes so let me know if you are going to want a study buddy!! I have references. haha!

And I think u can both order the packs online or get them at the bookstore. I always get things online and then just pick them up at the bookstore so I avoid the lines...
